Engagements, weddings…whole families gathered together… here is my collection of them all! Basically love in the making. What an incredible dream to have a job that is such a pleasure….such fun!

I realized as I was getting things together…I really have been a keeper of pictures all of my life. My cousin’s first grade picture, pictures of myself in my little roadrunner cheerleading uniform (that my mama sewed all by herself . . . . way to go mom!), and the treasured ones my parents have passed on to me from their collection. They hang on the walls and invade my thoughts. In thinking it over, I believe I have been in training for this profession my whole little life. What a great time this has been. I am doubly blessed.

Here are some of my recent favorites. Looking at them again just makes me smile, and laugh. What fun these were to shoot. I find I am always just so grateful to be a part of someone’s big day (and the days leading up to it!). To join in the family time, to witness the making of a covenant, and to capture the party that absolutely must follow. How rich it has been for me. I am so thankful ~

So, enjoy looking through the galleries. My hope is that it is photojournalism at its best in telling the wedding tale. Somehow capturing the essence of the relationships, the smiles…and the reason for the smiles in the first place! The photos here are as varied as the people in them. I have always loved getting more, and deeper than the standard poses. I want to chronicle lives and events…really tell your story as it was meant to be told. When I shoot weddings…my hope is that it will be an amazing blessing and keepsake for the couple…as long as they both shall live~
